If you live in Bridport, Beaminster, Lyme Regis or the wider West Dorset area, you can speak directly with our Social Prescribers and Care Coordinators - no referral needed.

Beaminster Food Bank
Can provide emergency food and ongoing support
Venue: Mondays and Fridays 10.00am to 12.00pm noon at The Prout Bridge Building, 6 Prout Bridge, Beaminster
Bridport Food Bank
Anyone can pop into the food bank for an emergency parcel but ongoing support requires a referral (Social Prescribing are able to do this). Free tea, coffee and cakes available. Partner Organisations present on a Wednesday morning include Citizens Advice Bureau, First Point (housing support) and the Clothes Bank. Social Precsribing is present on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

Bridport Community Fridge
Free food donated by shops and producers in the area. Open to all to reduce food waste.
Venue: Tuesday and Saturdays 10-11.30 at the Chapel in the Garden, East Street.

Bridport The Food Stall
Free food available to all to reduce food waste. Also Bridport Clothes Bank, kitchen equipment and household supplies.
Venue: Thursday 9.30am to 11.00am, St Swithuns Church Hall, North Allington 1st Thursday of the month is community coffee with free refreshments, cakes/biscuits and bacon sandwiches.
The Seaside Store
Low coast staples and free fresh produce and bread available. Users need to become members of the store to access the service.
Venue: Mondays 3.00pm to 5.00pm at The Hub, Church Street Lyme Regis.

Hopeful Hampers
Provide emergency bags of tinned/dried and fresh food to families in urgent need via referrals from Citizens Advice, NHS etc
