Beaminster Food Bank

Mondays and Fridays 10.00am to 12.00pm noon

Address: The Prout Bridge Building, 6 Prout Bridge, Beaminster 

Can provide emergency food and ongoing support

 

Bridport Food Bank (Cupboard Love)

Mondays 5.00pm to 7.00pm Bridport Youth and Community Centre, Gundry Lane, Bridport
Wednesday 11.00am to 1.00pm St Mary’s Church, South Street, Bridport

Anyone can pop into the food bank for an emergency parcel but ongoing support requires a referral (Social Prescribing are able to do this). Free tea, coffee and cakes available. Partner Organisations present on a Wednesday morning include Citizens Advice Bureau, First Point (housing support) and the Clothes Bank. Social Precsribing is present on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

 

Bridport Community Fridge

Tuesday and Saturdays 10-11.30 at the Chapel in the Garden, East Street.

Free food donated by shops and producers in the area. Open to all to reduce food waste.

 

Bridport The Food Stall

Thursday 9.30am to 11.00am, St Swithuns Church Hall, North Allington 1st Thursday of the month is community coffee with free refreshments, cakes/biscuits and bacon sandwiches.

Free food available to all to reduce food waste.  Also Bridport Clothes Bank, kitchen equipment and household supplies.

 

The Seaside Store 

Mondays 3.00pm to 5.00pm at the Hub, Church Street Lyme Regis.

Low coast staples and free fresh produce and bread available.  Users need to become members of the store to access the service.

 

Hopeful Hampers

Provide emergency bags of tinned/dried and fresh food to families in urgent need via referrals from Citizens Advice, NHS etc.

 

Project Food

Axminster Hospital, Chard Street, Axminster. Community food hub – join cook along sessions 3 times a week 

 

Free hot food - Bridport Christian Fellowship Church, King’s Square

Mondays 1.00pm, hot meal

Bridport Community Kitchen

Address: Beacon Church, Priory Lane

Weds, Thurs, Friday 10.30am to 2.00pm  Hot Meal with crafts on Thursdays

 

Bridport Clothes Bank

Free clothing from donations – open to all, drop off and pick up.  New underwear available plus bedding/towels and home textiles

  • Wednesdays at Bridport Food Bank
  • Thursdays at St Swithuns Church Hall
  • Occasional Saturdays (dates usually advertised via social media)
