Services for Seniors – someone to talk to

 

Age UK

Age UK have a number of telephone services that offer 1:1 contact with someone to talk to.

 

Silver Line     

A free confidential helpline providing friendship to older people. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.       

Regular telephone friendship service    

Sign up for a regular chat. Age UK match you with a friendly volunteer for a weekly catch up call. 

Befriending     

Face to Face befriending is sometime available depending on volunteers.

Advice Line    

Free, confidential national phone service for older people, open 365 days a year, 8.00am to 7.00pm for if you are feeling lonely or need practical help and support.
