Dorset Council Family Help Team
Dorset Council offer support for families. You can self-refer to this team by calling 01303 228558. Your call will be taken by admin support, and they will direct you through to the Family Help Team.

Dorset Council Educational Psychologists
Dorset Council offer parents and carers of children age 3 to 18 years (25 if the young person has SEND) the opportunity to speak with a Dorset educational psychologist (EP).

ASCape
ASCape provides supportive socialisation for autistic and/or socially anxious children and young people. They also offer peer support for parents and carers by creating a non-judgemental environment and encouraging sharing of ideas and support. They also have a facebook group.

Autism Central
Autism Central aims to make it easier to learn more about autism and services available to you. You will need to register first – which can be a bit tricky, but stick with because their resources are really good. Look out for the Health and Wellbeing videos in the resources section.

FACE family advice
Face Family Advice was set up to help parents and carers of teenagers. It offers advice, tips and support to parents who want to get the best out of their family relationships and need new tools to do that. Some of the offer is available free of charge but you will need to pay for other resources. There are courses that focus on all aspects of teenage life including OCD, ADHD and autism.

Molehill Mountain
Molehill Mountain is an app to help young people with autism to manage anxiety. This is an APP assessed by ORCHA for the NHS to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
