Drop-in Wellbeing Event 8th of May
Join our Social Prescribers for a fun-filled day of wellness across Beaminster — Friday 8th May, 10am–2pm. Free to attend, and everyone is welcome!
Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network invites West Dorset residents to a free Community Wellbeing Event, taking place across three venues in Beaminster on Friday 8th May 2026. Come along, get involved, and connect with local services supporting your physical health, mental wellbeing, and carer's support.
There will be a prize draw for anyone leaving feedback about the event! After attending the event, you can use our Contact us form at the bottom of this page.
Activities:
Physical Wellbeing at Beaminster Town Hall
Join us at Beaminster Town Hall, Fleet Street on Friday 8th May 2026, 10:00am – 2:00pm. This fun drop-in event includes stands, walk-in blood pressure checks, and a fantastic lineup of activities: Pilates, Line Dancing, Yoga, Solo Charleston, Tripudio Demo Sessions and a Menopause of Sound session. Refreshments provided by the Co-op.

Mental Wellbeing at Prout Bridge
Join us at Prout Bridge, Prout Hill, Beaminster on Friday 8th May 2026, 10:00am – 2:00pm. This welcoming drop-in event features stands hosted by local community and voluntary groups offering support and guidance for improving mental health. Take part in a range of activities including Creative Writing Demonstrations, a Stress Management Workshop and a Gratitude Journalling Workshop. Refreshments provided by the Co-op.

Carer's Support at Yarn Barton
Join us at Yarn Barton, Fleet Street on Friday 8th May 2026, 10:00am – 2:00pm. This free drop-in event is open to anyone who supports a family member or friend. Browse stands hosted by local community and voluntary groups, and access support and guidance specifically for carers.
Additionally, we are offering Carers Wellbeing Checks on the day. These DO need to be booked in advance due to very limited availability. Call 01308 428943 to book your place or register your interest now!
