ASCape

ASCape is a local charity dedicated to improving the lives of Autistic and socially anxious children, young adults and their families. Started by two mums who were frustrated with the lack of social opportunities for Autistic children and the absence of support for their families. ASCape provides autism and anxiety-friendly groups and activities for children and young people. They also organise events and forums to bring parents and carers together in a supportive, non-judgmental and understanding space.

Dorset Recovery Education Centre

Partnership between Dorset HealthCare and the Dorset Mental Health Forum. They offer a wide range of educational courses across Dorset which focus on recovery and wellbeing. Courses are free to attend and open to anyone 18+ who lives in Dorset. They run 2 courses on neurodiversity (Understanding ADHD & Understanding Autism), which are devised and delivered by someone with lived experience and someone who works in the appropriate service. Anyone can attend, diagnosis or not and it is also recommended for parents / carers of anyone living with either condition.

Autism Unlimited
